I want to hop!

A friend turned 2, so a party was to be had!  At a bounce house, oh boy!  The excitement is intimidating and overwhelming to my girl. She hugs my leg as we enter. "Hold me, hold me, mommy!" she says with a grinful expression. But my hands are full with her brother and all the things that come with him. We shuffle down the hall to the room of bouncy.  Bryson immediately gravitates to the crowd in the bounce house, bouncing away on his knees and meandering through the maze of toddler legs and inflatables. Brooklyn, on the other hand, takes a while to adjust to the exciting surroundings.  Minutes after joining her brother in the inflatables, it's time to move rooms to the cake & presents. Shortly after removing the icing from her cupcake, she comes to me "I'm ready to hop!" What? "I'm ready to go hop, mommy!"  Awww.  So sweet! But it's time to head home now.  Treat bags...candy, and more candy, oh my!  Two suckers don't pose a challenge to this little girl.  Look mommy! This one's red!  This one's brown!  Next thing I know, she's bobbin her head...fast asleep, sucker in hand, sticker still on forehead!  I'd say fun was had by all!

Bryson was asleep within minutes of loading into the car, so the pictures would've been quite boring. Contrary to these of his sister...Happy birthday, Serenity!
